Frequently Asked Questions

Rooted, reassuring and designed to help clients feel safe in taking the next step.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Many people come to therapy when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old and exhausting patterns or unsure how to move forward. If you’re struggling internally—even if everything seems “fine” on the outside—therapy can offer relief, clarity and direction.

What can I expect in my first session?

We’ll talk about what’s been going on and weighing on you, what you want to feel instead and what support would be most helpful. This is a session for me to really get to know you, the players in your life and how things are working or not working right now. You don’t have to prepare anything—just show up!

How long does therapy usually last?

There really isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come for a few months; others stay longer as their lives evolve. We will check in regularly to make sure therapy is moving you toward the changes you want, and the pace feel comfortable.

Where do sessions happen?

I offer virtual sessions for people living in Indiana and Arkansas. I use a secure and HIPAA-compliant platform, Simple Practice, for online sessions. You can be in the comfort of your home, on your lunch break in your car or anywhere you feel comfortable to speak freely with no one listening.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is protected by law and what you share stays between us—with a few exceptions related to safety, which I will always explain clearly.

How much does therapy cost?

Individual therapy is $150.00 per 50-minute session. Couple’s therapy is $175.00 per 50-minute session. You can find more information about fees and investments here.
