Services

  • Rediscover balance and clarity through individual therapy. I help individuals navigate life transitions, stress, anxiety and identify shifts with compassion and practical tools. Together, we’ll untangle overwhelm, build emotional resilience and help you feel grounded and confident in who you are.

  • Rebuild connection and communication with couple’s therapy designed for the early parenthood season. I support couples who feel distant, stuck or like “roommates with a baby.” At Rooted Vitality, I help you reconnect, manage conflict and strengthen your partnership through this major life shift.

  • As an experienced, relational supervisor, I provide clinical supervision that helps therapists grow with confidence and integrity. My approach blends clinical depth with self-reflection, supporting provisionally licensed therapists in developing strong boundaries, clinical insight and authentic therapeutic presence.

I am an out-of-network provider and thus do not bill insurance. In certain circumstances depending on your current insurance plan, you may be able to receive partial payment for services from an out-of-network provider. I suggest calling insurance to inquire about your out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to insurance for out-of-network benefits.

I accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA for payment.

I ask that appointments that you’re unable to attend or have a request to reschedule happen as soon as possible. Appointments not cancelled or requested to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance will be billed the full session fee.

The No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you agree to a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate under The No Surprises Act, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises

FAQs

  • We will start with a phone consultation to discuss what you are interested in and if we would be a good fit.

From there, we will schedule an intake and talk more in depth about what brought you to therapy, your history and goals you have.

I typically suggest weekly appointments initially to help build momentum. We will continually assess frequency of sessions as progress is made.

  • This is a great question and one that took great thought. There are many reasons, and this article helps break down some of those. For me though, paying privately means that I am able to ensure your complete privacy and confidentiality, which is something I think is very important. You will have complete control over your mental health services and have greater flexibility in utilizing interventions that benefit you most.

  • At this point in time, I do not offer in person services. Virtual services offer flexibility, increased comfort (hello, favorite blanket!) and increase access.

  • Taking medication is a very personal decision. If this is something you are interested in, we can certainly talk about the pros and cons, but I am unable to prescribe medication nor do I have a medical license.
I can provide a list of trusted medical providers to connect with to talk further about medication.

  • Therapy is a very collaborative process. This means being open and honest with communication. I highly value feedback and find it important to know what is and isn’t working. In addition, taking an active role in your progress will be most beneficial. This means regularly attending sessions, practicing what we talk about outside of session and being willing to step outside of the comfortable.
